MLB: White Sox trade outfielder Joc Pederson to Cubs for left-handed reliever Willson Contreras

The Chicago White Sox are reportedly considering trading outfielder J.C. Pederson and reliever Willison Contreres, a person with knowledge of the deal told ESPN.

The move could come as early as Friday, according to the person, who spoke to ESPN on condition of anonymity because the trade is not official.

The White Sox also have interest in free agent right-hander Drew Pomeranz, the person said.
